Street REIA – a real estate investment association and networking club for beginning and experienced landlords, rehabbers, and property owners- is designed to help St. Louis Real Estate Investors build a relationship for Real Estate Growth.

Our Purpose:

To assist our members in achieving their real estate investment goals by providing educational meetings, programs, workshops, and seminars, as well as networking and business-enhancement opportunities.

Our Goals:

• To promote a practical knowledge of the acquisition, management, and disposition of Real Estate through ongoing education, discussion, and networking sessions.
• To provide the opportunity to meet with others who share similar interests and experiences in a cooperative, non-competitive manner.

Who is Street REIA?

 

Gary Tretter
Blue Buckeye

 Gary Tretter obtained his real estate license in 1986, and began his investing career in 1991 with the purchase of his first fixer-upper (which became a rental property that he still owns today.)  He has been investing in real estate for over 15 years, and in 2004 became self-employed. 

Gary began his real estate career as a rehabber, but has since grown his business strategies to include wholesaling and creative buying strategies such as “subject to” and short sales.  Many know him as the “pretty house” buyer from his seminars and his extensive experience in buying houses “subject-to” and selling on a lease option.

 

Dan Bryan
ESCO Group, Inc.

Dan Bryan became a full-time investor and acquired his real estate broker’s license in 2003.   In addition to real estate investing, Dan is a licensed electrical contractor since 1984 and plumbing contractor since 1994.  He is active in wholesaling and short sales, typically double closing on the same day.   He has also done several rehab projects; however, he is not involved in any active rehabs at this time.  Although his focus has not been traditional landlording, he is actively starting to acquire properties for rental in this market.

Dan specializes in using creative financing techniques, and has bought/sold/traded numerous parcels of real estate – homes, mobile homes and land – using creative and non-traditional techniques without “going to the bank”.   Instead, Dan uses seller financing, private loans, hard money, subject to, leases, options,  notes, joint ventures and combinations of the above, and has also used the same techniques to sell properties creatively.  Many know Dan for his knowledge in using (land) trusts for taking title to real estate.
